...The name Z Prochek was taken one evening when we were sitting at a cafe, talking about how to get a good name for the band. For some reason they had Russian newspapers there and we noticed the word "Prochek" in one of them. We wanted the sound of our name to be representative for the music we make and thought that "Z Prochek" would be just that. The word "Z Prochek" has no real meaning in itself, it's more about the association you will make between the music and the name...
